Does it hurt?

Like all semi-permanent make-up, the session is not particularly pleasant. The lips are highly innervated mucous membranes, and the procedure can be more painful than semi-permanent eyebrow make-up. Rest assured, however, that it is completely bearable and I use anaesthetic products for your comfort. 

What does it look like?

I propose several techniques of semi-permanent lip make-up according to your expectations and the nature of your lips:

• Watercolour effect lips: the pigment is chosen in the same shade as your lips. It is applied only to the contour to make it look sharper and correct any asymmetries. This technique gives the impression of a naturally shaped lip.
• 3D effect lips: the contour is redrawn as in the previous technique but this time the practitioner slightly degrades towards the inside of the lips to subtly colour them.
• Lipstick effect: the contour is redrawn and the inside of the lips is also coloured. The result is more sophisticated and gives a "made-up" effect, ideal if you don't want to wear lipstick every day.

Semi-permanent lip make-up is a technique that consists of injecting pigments into the superficial layers of the skin using a very fine needle. It allows to underline and correct the contour by rectifying asymmetries. It is also possible to colour the lips with different degrees of intensity. 

Who is it aimed at?

To all women! If you think your lips are too thin or pale, semi-permanent make-up is a good option to enhance them without transforming them too much, unlike injections of products such as hyaluronic acid that change their volume. If you are happy with your lips but want to give them a little more vitality for more sensuality, semi-permanent make-up is also a good idea!

WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN BEFORE AND/OR AFTER THE SERVICE?

If you are prone to cold sores:

Your doctor will need to prescribe a specific treatment before and after the session to limit the risk of triggering after the service. 

The day before the session :

Exfoliate your lips by applying a gentle scrub.

Moisturise them with a balm to avoid chapped lips on the day of the service.

Post-treatment care

To allow your lips to heal properly, follow these instructions:

The first 3 days:

• Apply the cream every hour
• Do not scratch, rub or touch with fingers
• No kisses!

Four hours after the session, it is recommended not to smoke

The first week:

• Continue to apply the cream regularly
• Do not use lipstick
• Avoid sauna, UV cabins, jacuzzi, swimming pool and sun exposure

ARE ANY ALTERATIONS NECESSARY?

Touch-ups are less frequent than with semi-permanent eyebrow make-up because the injection of pigment into the mucous membranes is more durable than in the skin. Of course, each person reacts differently, but we generally consider that an annual touch-up is sufficient to maintain the shade.
